In addition to another busy week of committee hearings and bill filings, additional milestones were announced the week of February 20-24: Governor Roy Cooper has been invited by lawmakers to give his State of the State Address on March 6, and Speaker Tim Moore pointed to April 6 as the goal for the NC House of Representatives to pass their version of the 2023-24 State Budget.
In the upcoming week, lawmakers will continue their appropriations hearings and committee work. Bill filing will continue as well.
