Venue Sourcing & Vendor Management
Facilitate relationships with reputable event service providers (i.e rentals, catering, entertainment, audio visual, transportation, security, valet, etc.)
Knowledge of industry trends and technology for development of event
Recommend program and run of show to match business objective
Develop schematic for desired visual and attendee experience
Recommend efficient allocation of funds and negotiate appropriate pricing
Oversee invitation, RSVP tracking and event communication process
Legal counsel for vendor contract drafting and review
Ensure proper reporting of permitted gifts such as food and beverage (if elected officials in attendance)
Manage security process to adhere to RNC perimeters and credentials
Utilize local connectivity for desired guest list, including key stake holders, dignitaries, and executives
Onsite day-of professionals to facilitate all components of event setup, execution and strike

Maggie is director of public affairs and event management for Moore & Van Allen’s Public Affairs group. She brings nearly 15 years of project management and event implementation experience ranging from corporate events, public forums, seminars, and panels, to entertainment, hospitality and sponsorship. She has honed her skills with a variety of employers, including an international law firm, top ranked bank and an advertising agency.
