We worked closely with the client to focus on key messages around initiatives to improve financial well-being and investment in local economic development and sustainability. We identified the targeted influencers and stakeholders for outreach and determined effective channels for communicating with them.
We also helped implement successful media campaigns for the client, developing creative pitches, securing positive coverage, and providing routine tracking and reporting of social and traditional media. With our support, the client was able to broaden media outreach and placement across multiple news outlets. We also worked with senior executives on media training, preparing more spokespersons and building the company’s internal capacity for media engagements.
At the state level, we have assisted the client in developing and improving relationships with regulatory agencies, as well as legislators and staff. This more open line of communication has allowed opportunities to proactively address issues of concern with state agencies. It also has helped put the client in a position where the company’s perspective on potential or proposed legislation is sought, providing a greater voice in the process.
