It was another busy week of bill filings and committee work. Appropriations subcommittees began their introductory meetings on the programs, agencies, and departments within their jurisdictions.
The NCGA had its ceremonial opening on, January 11, 2023. Lawmakers are expected to return to the Capitol on January 25 to begin the 2023-24 biennium.
